Bound by chains

Bound by chains you are forced to sit. No matter how much you struggle and strain the chains don't budge.

These chains have names. They make your everyday life a living hell. The chains names are; Doubt, pain, anguish, anxiety, and the heaviest of them all, fear.

Now life has taken your sight, the things that once made you happy when you saw them, gone.

Everything has faded to black. The chains feel heavier now, you're starting to break.

The air is cold, you can feel your breath on your face as your breathing becomes unnatural.

Soon you're hyperventilating. The chains are getting tighter.

You let out a bloodcurdling cry, but no one can hear you.

Your heartbeat is shaking your whole body, the fear chain becomes heavier.

Soon enough you lose your hearing, life is slowly draining from you.

You can feel yourself bleeding, you cannot stop it.

You're helpless. You cannot see or hear. Bound by these chains and you can do nothing.

After so long you de-materialize, you're becoming dust.

As you de-materialize and your heart beats one last time you whisper, "Don't forget me".
